The campsite can be found on the most westerly point in France known as the Cap Sizun. To the west of the campsite is the infamous Pointe du Raz "The end of the Earth". This emblematic Breton landmark is an internationally-known conservation area and a wonder of nature where the sea meets the land in the most breath-taking manner. The views are stunning from lighthouses anchored in the raging seas to the Ile de Sein and finally the famous, imposing Ar-Men lighthouse.
Brittany is famous for it's vast coastline and beautiful beaches. Within 10-20 minutes of the campsite there are many beaches from the small and secluded coves, to the large open expanses of the beautiful Baie des Trépassés, Baie d'Audierne and the Baie de Douarnenez with rolling Atlantic waves ideal for both the beginner and advanced surfer or bodyboarder. There are many surfing & sailing schools in the area.
Many people come here to see the local attractions including the Tall Ships Festivals at Brest & Douarnenez, Fête des Bruyeres at Beuzec Cap Sizun, the fabulous Quimper music festival and our very own "Fête de la Mer" at Pors Lanvers in August.
